Come down and help celebrate the natural and cultural values of the Leschenault Estuary with the organisations working to protect it. Enjoy a variety of workshops, presentations, food trucks, music, art and much more!

Come along to one (or all!) of our volunteer planting days over the 2026 planting season and help get some plants in the ground to rejuvenate foreshore areas and support local biodiversity.
Great fun for the whole family, meet like-minded folk and help protect our natural areas.

Ringtail Tally
Tally dates: 1st April - 2nd May 2026
Join the Annual Ringtail Tally and help protect western ringtail possums. This exciting citizen science opportunity invites community members of all ages to contribute to the conservation of critically endangered possums by gathering data that supports long-term conservation efforts.

A festival is only as good as its people! As part of our planning we are inviting Expressions of Interest from volunteers interested in helping out for an hour or two on the day.

Love the Lesch - Junior Art Exhibition!
Calling all Junior Artists! Get creative with this year’s Junior Art theme - Love the Lesch: Protecting the Leschenault Estuary!
Join in by creating an artwork that celebrates and protects our Leschenault Estuary - its wildlife, waterways and wonder.
Exhibition open to artists aged 4-16. Artworks displayed at Love the Lesch Fest Sunday 3rd May 2026.

Test your soil to support better fertiliser decisions
Join over 2000 farmers improving the health of our waterways by only applying the fertiliser that your paddocks need!
Included: Soil testing, advice and support valued at over $5000; Soil sampling and chemical analysis of all eligible paddocks; Results and advice at a local workshop; One-to-one agronomic advice; and Plant tissue testing.

Funding available for landowners
Funding is available for landowners to assist with fencing waterways to exclude stock and planting native revegetation to kickstart a healthy stream ecosystem.
