Open Nature Gardens Event - Expression of Interest
We are looking for local residents in the City of Bunbury, Shire of Harvey and the Shire of Dardanup, interested in opening their garden gates for our next Open Native Gardens event, which will be held in September this year.
We are looking for:
Native gardens of all shapes and sizes: expansive rural blocks, verge gardens, and compact courtyards.
Fauna-friendly features: We would love to highlight spaces that actively welcome wildlife - including custom built habitat structures, bird baths, insect hotels, or secure outdoor catios that keep both pets and local species safe.
Know a beautiful garden? Dob in a neighbour!
Some of the best gardens are hidden behind a neighbours fence! If you know of a stunning native garden that deserves recognition, please let us know via the form below. You can nominate a garden anonymously and we will reach out with a letter to see if they might be interested in sharing their space with the community.
If you would love to inspire others to grow for local biodiversity, please take a moment to fill out the brief form below and a project officer will be in touch to discuss further and organise a garden visit.
