Some of the most inspiring nature and wildlife gardens in our region will be open to the community on Sunday 20th September for our second Open Nature Gardens Event!

Private gardens are incredibly important for local conservation. They support native wildlife and biodiversity, assist with urban cooling and can minimise the overuse of valuable water resources, particularly when we plant local native species.

Attendees will have the opportunity to tour local gardens and discuss with host gardeners how they have incorporated different design elements that work towards conservation in the Leschenault Catchment. This year we have extended the geographical location of our feature gardens to include some beautiful gardens across the wider catchment.
